Caju, thanks for your comments. The Silverado color patterns are very interesting. The way I understand it, Phil's fish populations are identified by patterns that are passed on by the male. He does this to avoid inbreeding. The females are randomly selected from his entire Cumana stock. So every fish looks a little different. The tail patterns of this Silverado population are pretty random. Some have patterns that resemble peacock and orchid. Hopefully the population will throw some non-silver examples that will show the color patterns hidden under the silver.
